As part of Neighbourhood Policing Week, officers from Harlesden Town Centre Team have conducted a covert operation to tackle regular shoplifters who enter a small amount of stores and steal large amounts of items. Officers lay in wait for the suspect to enter, steal items and on leaving the store are detained. A male suspect was arrested as he left Peacocks store in High Street NW10. The suspect was also wanted at the time for Recall to Prison for Burglary. The suspect was charged and remanded and all the goods were returned. |
